It started with hi
Launched in January 2025 across Hyper Island’s social media this ongoing recruitment campaign is part of their global brand strategy, extending to North and South America, Europe and the Nordic countries. It is the first time Hyper Island has included a student project of this scale in their global campaign.

What began as a school project with zero budget is now a key part of Hyper Island’s international marketing strategy.
Hyper Island is a global leader in creative education and innovation. To reinforce their brand identity, our team developed the campaign concept, "It Started with HI", playing on the double meaning of the greeting “hi,” which is also an acronym for Hyper Island.
“For most people, ‘hi’ is just a greeting. For you, it could be the gateway to unexpected opportunities.“
This campaign was a team effort, and my role in this project was to shape the creative direction, from concept to execution. This included developing ideas during the ideation phase, creating the storyboard, and assisting with the editing and visual production of the organic content.
Following the success of the two first videos, the Hyper Island marketing team commissioned us to create two additional videos, scheduled for release in January 2026.
